Bilame Chrome – Twin-Blade Corkscrew in Chromed Metal

The Bilame Chrome is L'Atelier du Vin's original twin-blade corkscrew — patented in 1949 and still the sommelier's tool of choice for opening aged and fragile bottles. Its two slender blades slide down between the cork and the bottle neck without ever piercing the cork, allowing it to be extracted intact — preserving the wine's aromas and avoiding the crumbling that a traditional spiral would cause on an old cork.
