Geometry – Sculptural Black Box with Oeno Motion Gold Corkscrew

Geometry by Margherita Matticari is at once a gift box and a sculpture. Closed, it presents as two triangles in black lacquered wood — a minimalist, decorative object. Open, a circle is revealed at its centre: the Oeno Motion Gold lever corkscrew, nestled inside, ready to open the finest bottles.

The circle nods to the instantly recognisable circle on the corkscrew. The triangle and circle are essential geometric shapes, evoking body and spirit. The matte black of the box accentuates the shine of the gold — a striking interplay of shapes, perspectives and light. Each piece is handmade and unique.
