The "de Gaulle" – Winged Corkscrew and Foil Cutter
Pairs well with
Discover L'Atelier du Vin's iconic "de Gaulle" bottle opener — a double-lever winged corkscrew with integrated foil cutter, first produced in 1970 and still a timeless classic today.
It owes its name to General de Gaulle lifting his arms into the air, and its two-lever mechanism spreads the extraction force over both arms, reducing effort by half compared to a single-lever system. Equipped with a special forged, Teflon-coated worm and a five-step turn to properly grip and extract any cork.
Multipurpose: includes a large bottle opener to remove beer and lemonade caps of any size. From one generation to the next, a must-have at every table.
